How to Limit Timeline Events Vertical Display

I find it cumbersome scrolling through large numbers of events both vertically AND horizontally at the same time. Is there some way to constrain the vertical display of events to the size of the open window and scroll through them horizontally only? If so, how? If not, why?

Hi, No there is no way to constrain the vertical display of events. This is because the placement horizontally of events is determined by their dates, so if you constrain the vertical placing, then many events falling at the same or similar time would have to be placed on top of one another (eg. if you have 100 events all taking place on the same day, but your vertical limit was only 10, then you have no where else to place them so that they still appear on the correct date). There are three different display options you can choose from which decide how the events are placed vertically, which you can change in Display Settings (the paintbrush icon) under Layout. You can read about them here: https://help.aeontimeline.com/article/44-display-settings to see if any of them are better for you. Jess

Thanks. Request that you consider adding another display option which would allow users to constrain the vertical field of events to the size of the window. I realize that doing so would mean that events would be stretched in the horizontal, and that timeline zooming would be restricted, but I'd find it very helpful. Thanks.
