Locking Events

Prior to buying Aeon Timeline, I remember reading that you could lock event entries to avoid accidentally moving them and upsetting the date/time, but I can't figure out how to do it. I have visual impairments as well as hands I can't always full control precisely, so I keep on knocking events all over the shop and having to go back and amend them, which is irritating and time consuming, so if there's something I'm missing, I would appreciate any help.

Lock is missing from current version AFAIK. There was talk of reinstating it in the Beta forum a few months ago. Hope it comes about because it's an essential feature for me.

Oh, that sucks, but thank you for letting me know; I didn't know if I'd imagined it or not. But considering how easy it is to knock something out of place, and how long it can take to put back, it's a nightmare.

In the mean time, using Parent and Child events, as well as Based on Event features, allows for less events to be moved. Some instances act as if they are locked, while not truly being locked.

Being able to lock events is definitely an essential feature.
