I have a simple timeline and one event has an attachment (word doc). I export to "web" and can see the file in the "attachments" directory -but can't find a way to access from the html page. It shows the event fine (and other attributes such as description or the image) - I just can't see how I would access the attachment. FYI - I'm just accessing the HTML file from finder, I'm not hosting it on a web server.

Hi, In order to access the attachments from the html page, you first need to configure your Display Settings in Aeon Timeline before exporting. If you open Display Settings, and at the bottom drag the box that says Attachments to the "Drop to add an Item" box, then this will configure the timeline to show a link to the attachment when you expand the event. Once you have done this, if you web export again, when you expand the event from the html page, you will see the link to the attachment that you can click on. Jess

Thanks I can select the "attachments box", but for some reason, it won't drag at all. I know how to do "drag and drop" and for some reason, it is not working. I am on a Mac Mohave and am using Version 2.3.16 (2.3.16) of the software.

Hi, Unfortunately there is a bug that happens intermittently where the drag and drop doesn't work, which we haven't been able to repeatedly recreate to fix it. If you close your timeline file, then exit the program and restart it, you should be able to drag and drop again. Jess

That did it. Thanks for the quick response.
