I'm trying to move a custom calendar I made to a new computer. I can move a timeline, but I'm having a hard time finding ways to move a calendar. Or do I just need to create it all over again?

Hi, You can create a timeline which uses your custom calendar, and then transfer the timeline to your new computer and open it in Aeon Timeline. Then go to Timeline Settings (the cog icon) and click "Save as Custom Template..." This will save the template for you (which includes the custom calendar) which you can then use to create other timelines on your new computer. Jess

Hmm, I can't find the cog icon. The closest settings button is a wrench, and it doesn't have that option.

Is the cog icon in a newer version of Aeon Timeline?

You are using a very old version of Timeline - version 1. You might want to consider upgrading.

Okay, but does anyone know how I can fix my problem with Version 1 software?

Is it not a feature in v.1?

Hi, In version 1 you can load a custom calendar from a timeline file. On the welcome screen when you are creating a new timeline, click on the "Custom Calendars" option on the left. You will see a "Load from Timeline" button on the bottom of the screen. You should be able to use that to choose your timeline file that has the calendar you want, and then it will create a new custom calendar option that you can choose to create new timeline files with on your new computer. AH YES! Thank you, thank worked perfectly! I'd already opened the file, so it didn't take any time at all. Thank you again so much!
