So I am not sure what I did, but originally when I changed views from nested to flatten, all the events showed up on either one.
Today I went in and tried to add new events for Days of the weeks so I could nest each days' events in the correct day. The book will only be six days long. Not only did I end up with multiple 'start of tuesday' 'start of start of tuesday' etc. in some cases, because the days weren't showing up in the nested view, but now the only view that shows all events is flattened, which defeats my purpose. How can I get my nested view of all events back?
Thanks! [Nest parent:child events](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s3/:aeontimeline:xo1u:nestparentchildevents.png.jpg) [Flatten parent:child events](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s3/:aeontimeline:zY4n:flattenparentchildevents.png.jpg)

The reason that all your events aren't showing in the nested view is just because the parent event has been collapsed.
You will see next to event 1. Mourning Chorus, a triangle shape that is pointed down, with the line coming off it to the events below. This shows that the parent event is expanded, showing its children.
However next to the event 1.1 Start of Mourning Chorus, the triangle is pointing to the right, which means that the parent event is collapsed (hiding its children). If you click this arrow, then it should change to open the event and show its children.
Let us know if you have anymore questions.
