I've been having problems getting Scrivener sync working. I think I may have misunderstood the most basic principles of syncing.
What I did and what went wrong: I created a new empty project in Scrivener, saved it, and closed it. Then I went to setup the syncing from Aeon Timeline. The setup seemed to go OK, but nothing was synced. An error message was generated for each event in the Timeline document. [Screen Shot 2019-11-04 at 1](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s2/:aeontimeline:iuvv:screenshot20191104at1.47.15pm.png.jpg)
What I'm thinking now: I was expecting Aeon Timeline to create a new text document in Scrivener for every event in my timeline. But now it occurs to me that maybe I have to manually create a new document myself for every event in the timeline (and perhaps manually set up the correspondence for each of those items?)
Is my interpretation of the situation correct?
Thanks for any help.

I've finally realized which sub- section of the manual applied to me. I just dragged items from Timeline into the Binder, and that solved my problem.
