I sent this to Support on Thursday, haven't heard back, and the trial is limited, so asking here.
Aeon Timeline for use with Scrivener Windows is not recognizing my pre-existing Scrivener date metadata field. I'm using the Scrivener 220.127.116.11 Beta, but I don't think that's the issue, as Timeline can create and maintain a NEW date field in the project, just not recognize one it didn't create. The project was initially created around a year ago with the current production (non-beta) version of Scrivener.
I had created my date field with custom formatting of yyyy-MM-dd, which is different from how Aeon does it ( (Long + Time) format), but even switching my date field to that format doesn't cause Aeon to see it.
So it appears that Aeon can only see the field it inserts, not one already there, despite Page 86 of the manual.
Has anyone else seen this? Does support check their email? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have replied to your email now, but to reiterate: Aeon Timeline 2 should sync to existing date fields in Scrivener with your custom formatting. The first thing to check would be to see if your date field in Scrivener has the "Ignore time zone changes" ticked, as this property needs to be true for Aeon Timeline to recognise it as something to sync to. If it is not ticked, this would explain why syncing isn't working for you.
