I'm using Aeon2 and trying to change the color of the text, which is currently not at all "ergonomic" -- there is little to no color contrast, which makes it hard to read. I gather that for some reason we're not allowed to correct that problem in the settings for Aeon 2? Can you make sure that any update fixes the text so that it has the proper contrast for the available backgrounds? You can see what I'm talking about here:
Or the tools listed here: https://www.viget.com/articles/color-contrast/
I took a screenshot of my timeline and used Photoshop's eyedropper tool to find out (roughly) what colors you're using in your "dark skin." The text's hex code value is #737176, and the backgrounds (striped) are #404145 or #36383b which, per the link, gives a contrast of 2.11 / 2.44. It's even worse if you use the "writer" skin and so on. Per the links, this contrast ratio miserably fails the WCAG guidelines, which ca lls for a 7 at the minimum for the text/background contrast. I've attached a screenshot.

Thanks for letting us that you have issues with the contrast of the application. It is something we will take into account in the future when updating the user interface.
Just for our information, are you using the desktop or iOS version of the application?
If you are using the desktop application, then the Print skin might be higher contrast than the others, so you might want to try that one to see if it helps you.
