In AT1, you could set up the view so you had the timeline across the upper part and entities across the bottom. You could toggle participant and observer status from that lower display, and you got vertical and horizontal lines showing you which events intersected with which people. Can this display be recreated in AT2?

Hi, The "relationship view" in version 1, which is what you are talking about, does not currently exist in version 2. You can read about the reasons here: http://www.aeontimeline.com/support/what-happened-to-relationship-view/ Of all the changes made, this is certainly the biggest and most controversial. Some people definitely miss the old view, while others are glad it is gone and replaced with "cleaner" options. For my part, I am certainly going to listen to feedback on this, and if there are good points from that view that are not captured by the new version, I will look for ways to bring back those benefits without as many downsides. Highly disappointing... Even with the issues, it was a very useful feature for the way I use AT. The available alternatives don't get the same data at-a-glance. Even if it defaulted to off, it would be nice if it came back for those of us who did make extensive use of it.

I can understand that point of view, which is why I made a specific page explaining the decision and a discussion area to work out what the missing benefits of the view are, and ways to recreate those benefits in a new way. Matt
