Dependencies Lines

I would like Dependencies to show the line from the latest event to the entry on which it is based, but not hooking back to all the interim entries. Since the relationship is between the event and the thing from which it emerged, the other entries are or might be irrelevant, but the lines make it look like they are all related. Is there a way to make Dependencies display only the link of the two events?

Hi, Are you able to clarify more about the situation you are referring to? (eg. if you could upload a diagram image, or describe a simple case where this is occurring - such as event A depends on B etc). Jess

[Screenshot 2018-07-01 06](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s1/:aeontimeline:bQH3:screenshot2018070106.24.14.png.jpg) The first event on the screenshot is dinner with friends. The last is follow up email. The only dependency is between these two events, but the line goes through all the interim events, which are completely unrelated, like a chain of dependencies. I am wondering if the line can connect Dependency A and B, and not make a necklace of the events between, which are not related.

Hi, Thanks for sending this through. We will look at improving this so that this will not occur on a future version. Jess
