Last year, you made a blog post covering some significant updates you were planning for Aeon Timeline. At the time, I was quite excited, because the features and changes you listed looked amazing. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, that was the last we heard of it, aside from the occasional mention in responses on this forum.
At the time you also said: "Some of our ideas are still works-in-progress and will need further validation with early-user testing etc. so it is a little early to share designs and screenshots that are subject to change, but we will begin those alpha tests within the next few months and share the results soon after."
I understand that software development is a notoriously tricky process to predict and showing off incomplete or influx visuals can cause problems, but it has been almost a year since that post. It would be nice to hear what's been happening, even if it's just "Some features are taking longer to properly implement than expected" or "internal testing showed flaws in what we were planning."

We are still hard at work on these features behind the scenes, and the new version of the application is progressing. Late last year we sent out a newsletter asking for alpha testers, who are currently helping us test and improve the application, so hopefully we will have more to share with you soon.
