Dynamic links between events

I wanted to link an event to another event - for instance if some backstory is being revealed in event 32, it would be very useful to have a ready link to click to event 5 (which might become event 12 at some later point) where that backstory is covered in full, rather than having to search for it every time. It could be done with a new event property. I had thought the "Link to Event" menu item under "Sync" might be helpful, but it crashed the application. I'm assuming the whole Sync menu is to do with Scrivener, which I have zero interest in - is that right?

Hi, Unfortunately at the moment there is no way to link an event to another, however it is something we are looking to add in a future version. You are correct that the Sync menu is related to Scrivener and Ulysses syncing, and therefore would not be useful to you. However it still should not crash the application when you try to access items in the menu, are you able to give us the steps you took to create this crash, and what operating system you are using? This will help us fix the issue, so it at least won't crash for other users if they try to do same thing. Jess

Thanks for the reply. It's fine, the suggestions are literally just vague wish lists, not urgent requests. (I'm about to make another one.) Re the crash, I'm using Windows 10. I open a timeline. It happens to be in relationship mode. I select Link Event from the Sync menu. The application crashes with the Send Report dialogue. (I haven't sent a report because I'm not sure how much personal information is sent.) However, I just discovered when I restart the programme, the window does not then appear, though several entries are visible in Task Manager. Killing those entries then allows the programme to start normally, though not with the last timeline loaded.
