Is it possible to list events in non-chronological order?

This might be a face-slapping noob's question... I'm trying Aeon Timeline out for the first time. I'm writing a novel, which of course contains events in a chronological sequence. But I'm not going to tell the story in chronological sequence. I will jump around according to the needs of the narrative. I can see that I can show events on the timeline, and group them according to Story, Person, etc. But can I label and/or list them in the order I want to tell them in my story (not in chronological sequence)? If so, then I can use this to lay out my timeline, but also lay out my writing plan. That would be great.

Hi, At the moment Aeon Timeline is designed to only order events based on their dates, and therefore if your story is non-linear it won't show the story chronological order. However this is something we are adding in our next version, where you will have the ability to order events in both date order, and in story order. Jess

That's exciting... Sounds great. Any idea roughly how long til that next version comes out?

Hi, We are currently working on the next version and have made a lot of progress, however we don't have any dates yet. We are confident it will be worth the wait when it comes out. Jess
