Hi, Are you on Mac or Windows? In Mac this is using a built in computer system wide setting, which turns on spell checking for all applications that support it. You can turn off this setting for your computer under System Preferences /Keyboard/Text/Correct Spelling Automatically You can also change the default language to UK english under System Preferences/Language and Text Jess
Thanks. I'm on Windows 10. Yes, I wondered if it was some third party setting. I've looked in Control Panel Keyboard and Language settings (which are set to English UK) and also Flash. I turned off Spell checking and underlining in Windows main settings/devices/typing but that didn't work either.
Hi, Unfortunately it looks like the external library that we are using does it own spell checking, which we were unaware of, so at the moment there would be no way to turn this off. We will look into this to see if there is a way to change the language/turn it off in the future. Jess
What a lot of programs do when using external libraries for spellchecking is allow for “adding” a custom word to a local library, included with the program settings or the project files. Just saying this in case it helps the devs come up with any ideas for implementation. (Not that big a deal to me personally)
