Hi, How do I show month and day in the timeline? It seems there are options for day number but not day of the week. Thank you.

Hi, Do you mean for the dates of events? Aeon Timeline should always display the day of the week on the timeline, are you able to post a screenshot of what you are seeing where it isn't displayed? You can change what format dates are displayed in for events under Date Formatting in Timeline Settings (the cog icon), this lets you choose between displaying month names (short or long) or just numbers. Hi, a snapshot is included. While I'm here - how do I edit events? I expanded the event but it won't let me alter the information: location and participant. How do I fix this? Thank you, parodocs [Aeon Capture](//muut.com/u/aeontimeline/s3/:aeontimeline:sYEw:aeoncapture.jpg.jpg)

Hi, Sorry I may have misunderstood your initial question, do you mean showing the month and day in the bar above the events that shows the time intervals of the displayed timeline (not the date of the event?) The precision of the intervals displayed depends on how far you are zoomed in or out. If you are zoomed out, then it will only show months or years as displayed in your screenshot, if you zoom in using the zoom slider you should see this change to include the day of the week. If you don't then you may need to change your zoom limits via Timeline Settings. To edit events, you click on the event and open the inspector (the 'i' icon on the toolbar). This displays all the information of an event, under different tabs and you can use this to edit the event's data, or add something new. Jess

Thank you, that's helpful. I can't edit events, still. I go to the event and right click. That opens the event but I can't edit the info: location and participant, for example. Now I'm deleting events and adding them back in, which seems redundant. What am I missing? Thank you, Parodocs

Hi Paradocs, To edit an event, do a left click on it (not a right). This selects the event. Then, on the right side of the screen there should be a panel that displays all the information for the event. If this panel (the inspector) doesn't exist, then you need to open it by clicking the 'i' icon on the toolbar at the top. Then you can edit the information for this event on the panel. eg. If you want to change the location for an event, you click on the Roles tab and then next to Location click the plus sign to add a new one, or the minus sign next to an existing one to delete it. You can read about the inspector here: https://help.aeontimeline.com/article/37-the-inspector Jess
