While writing a novel, I'm finding that I need to switch back and forth between Scrivener and Timeline in order to check my timings. That, of course, I can't do without repeatedly shutting down Scrivener and and then starting it up again . This doesn't work at all well because it interrupts flow of the writing. What should take a second or two ends up taking a minute or two. I've printed out my timeline, but that shouldn't be necessary. It would be very helpful to enable both systems to play nicely together.

If I'm not mistaken, you CAN keep both programs open and use them. It's only when syncing that Scrivener needs to be closed.

Craig is correct, it is only when syncing that Scrivener needs to be closed. This has been due to the way Scrivener has been implemented, however we have been working with them to see if we can find a solution so that you could sync with both open at the same time in the future.
