Oops, came across another post like this, but "time zone". Not sure I understand the response though: just allow specifying a timezone offset from 0 for every location, then display the time in the correct timezone on the timeline based on what location is attached to it. Simple. :D
Hi, The ability to have time zones is not something that is currently available. It is something we asked about in our recent survey, so we will see what the response is to determine whether we add the ability in a future release. Jess
I do not understand this response either. Is it a 'not everyone wants it, so nobody gets it' mentality? The question is 4 years old. Surely there's been time to get it sorted.
Hi, Choosing what the best features are to implement is a balance between how useful the feature will be to what number of users, and how complex the idea is and how long it would take. As we have a finite number of resources and time we wish to maximise the benefit for the most number of users in the shortest amount of time So the more users are interested in something, the more likely we are to implement it earlier, but it isn't a hard rule that if only some people want it, we don't imeplement it. Jess
I could understand your answer if this was a new request that was low on the list of priorities, but it's been asked for for 4 years. Check with your developers, is it really that hard to add a time zone to an event and have that automatically +/- the number of hours of the time of the event? (I've written more complex code and I'm amateurish at coding at best) It would just be nice to hear something other than a non-answer.
+1 to that. The app is basically useless to me in my current book because of this issue.
